Re:loop_2 ist eine performative Begegnung von drei Künstlern und eine interdiziplinäre Reise mit unbekanntem Ziel. Julia Kent bildet mit ihrer Musik die Basis und Inspiration für einen konspirativen Prozess von einer weißen Leinwand zu einem Bild. Medialisiert durch analoge und digitale Apparaturen löst Egbert Mittelstädt das Bild von der Leinwand, wirft es auf sie zurück und setzt es in Bewegung. Walter Padao nimmt die medialen Einflüsse in seine Malerei auf und macht das Licht selbst zum Werkzeug der Malerei - es entsteht eine Feedbackschleife zwischen Musik, Malerei und Projektion. Vorangetrieben durch die Musik durchläuft das entstehende Bild verschiedenste Stadien und führt ein Doppelleben, auf der Leinwand und als Projektion.
Re:loop_2 is a performance of three artists as an interdisciplinary journey with open end. Julia Kent’s music prepares the ground for a conspiratorial process, in which a white canvas turns into a picture. With the help of analog and digital media tools Egbert Mittelstädt records the image of the canvas, projects it back on it and sets it into motion.
